I have a out of state trip to texas this winter, and i'm woundering what type of bait, and lure brand i should use it will be for cats and coyotes. I've used many diffrent brands of lure over the years, had some success with some and not so great with others, so i was woundering what you guys use. I have access to beaver meat, muskrat, rabbit, and gardiner snakes, and yes i said snakes they sure work in the fall and early winter in minnesota, but don't know if the'll work in texas.

I don't think brand really matters. Use what you have had success with and are CONFIDENT in using. I would back up sets with ones using urine or glands as the attractor. Hope this helps

Hiawatha Valley & Lenons should work well for you. You may also want to try the Nelson formula, it seems to work excellent on cats and coyotes for Bob Wendt.

JC conners traps Texas every year with large cat and coyote catches, I have had good luck with his gland lures on fox and yotes but we have no cats, i use cat gland on yotes for a change up.
