It sounds to me like a perfect place to set a couple or three 220's in each field and avoid theft in the ditches. Just be sure any would be bird hunters are warned by the land owners. If you can't ensure that then I recommend raccoon snares in place of the 220's. coon snares

This might sound a bit critical with me living in the 'Burbs here... but make sure before setting close to "traveled roads"...as folks walk their dogs and feral cats are all over the place. One bad incidence and it might make us look bad. Also I recommend using a strong 160 due to its smaller jaw spread...fewer dogs and quicker kill on cats.
