I haven't gotten the word out much this year and haven't worked on many jobs, as I've been busy doing other things, but do like the occasional job to have something to break up the week a bit!
I wouldn't mind killin' some beaver though. I think I'll go and get me a few jobs. How about you? Been doing any animal damage control work this summer?

Snareman I would much rather do all beaver work because it's just me and the beaver. Coyotes on turkey farms is another story you have to deal with alot of diffrent things landowners, skunks, coon, fox, etc the farmers want everthing you catch killed, because there killing the turkeys, I'm first and formost a fur trapper not a ADC trapper. There are six turkey farmer that are close familey friends they have let my dad hunt and trap my brother hunt and trap and now me so it's close to home so I don't charge them anything for trapping, because we have the only permission on there land.At the end of the year we get two or three smoked tukeys from each farmer, so I guess coyote trapping not so bad.

I've been after several coons and lately it seems like a lot of bat calls. I've done a couple groundhog jobs and removed a vicious 3oz. opposum from a backyard apple tree. Of course there is no shortage of skunks and possums either. Just did a little ADC work of my own and added another rabbit to my bait bucket. He won't be eating the garden again. I used my new toy I got last fall... It's an RWS air rifle in 22cal. it really packs a wollup with Beeman silver arrow pellets. The crow magnum pellets knock starlings right out of the dogs food bowl too. lol!
