The best I've seen is the section on snaring beaver in the book The Snareman by Leonard Pavek. Trapper Art put out a book on just snaring beaver. You can contact him at www.trapperartssupply.com I can't recall the price, but thought it was $7.95. Then there is also Snaring In The Space Age by Bernie Barringer and he has a longer chapter on snaring beaver in there as well. You may be able to pick up a copy of each if you inquire at the trap shed. Good luck and good topic! Snareman

I agree with the previous post: The Snareman by Pavek is a great place for a beginner to start. I think seeing the set-ups on video/DVD is very helpful as well. There was a post on the Product Review part of this forum regarding videos (not specifically beaver sanring); you should look it over.
Good luck

If it's under ice, just read Rally Hess's article in the last NAFA publication - it's all there!
