From 110's to 660's what are you favorite methods to stabilize them?
I like the "H" type for 160's to 330's. I use wooden stakes for 110's in water and H stands on land. What do you all use? Does it vary if it is set in water or dry land trails?

I use "H" type stabilizers for my 330's. Additional stabilization may also result from fencing and dive poles. All sets would be in the water.

I use Lefler stabilizers on my 110's, stakealizers on my 160's and 220's(weld myself) and just use beaver sticks or whatevers handy for 330's. I did have a chance to look at the new Arrowhead stabilizers at the FTA convention, nice and light for 220's in coon trails but kinda spendy at $22 a dozen.

i made a fixture to make the 'h' type holders for 220's and 330's i make all the bends in one fixture with a torch to heat the round stock and then i made a clamping fixture to hold it all together so i could weld the parts in place. works great i thought about selling the holders on ebay. the ones for the 220's really hold good. you have to use the 2nd notch for setting the trap but it holds onto thr trap really tight with a duke.there is absolutely no movement to the trap. im going to use them in front of my buckets. and the 330 holders work great for runs. just bought a new mig welder that ought to make it a lot easier for me to weld them faster.

I use homemade stabilizers for 110's. And for 160's - 280's i use H-Type Stabilizers. From 160 and up they are all on land. CRT
