These two fur tycoons are Wade(Left) and Brian Dokken (Right) back in 1974, when the fur prices were higher. They would go out together, and check thier traps in the morning's before school. They had lots of fun in those days, meanwhile making money. My Dad, Brian, made enough to buy a new Chevrolet pick-up with his trapping funds. I am fortunate enough to get to go trapping with my Great Uncle Adrian Dokken. I learn at least one new thing everytime I am around him! He caught his first weasel in 1933 and has been avidly trapping ever since. He is a member of this forum site, look him up if you have any questions, I am sure he will have an answer. Lee

I absolutely love that picture! You just don't see many black and whites anymore. Not only the folk and how they're dressed, the fur, etc, but especially like the farm equipment and the ol' rickety screen door. I lived on a farm with an identical door!
Thanks very much for posting. Yes, I think I do recall another dokken posting. In fact, I think he posted inquiring if he may be the most "experienced"(age!) here. LOL!
