Yes , that's him , still out there gobbling ! I shot 5 times and never hit any of em. Have to practice my distance estimating more ! Oh well , had a ton of fun and learned alot . That's why they call it hunting and not killing ;D. Saw over 2 doz toms.

Did you see the article in Bowhunter mag about using the bow umbrella blind? Also he shows how he rigs a real fan on his jake decoy and lifts it with a line back to his blind. Has the toms running in to a predetermined range.

Yes I did but I read it in Bowhunt America mag. and it was after the hunt . I plan to get just about everything he was using including a few extras. I already ordered the bow bipod , a "freak" friction call to strap to my leg , and need to get a double bull matrix blind and the advanish umbrella . All things I think I can put to use this fall chasing elk in CO. I also have some turkey tails to modify my decoys. Also lpan to get a gobble call .

Those Double-Bull Ice blinds are tops! I never had a chance to hunt in one, but checked them out at an archery store in St. Cloud, MN. (Mike's Archery I think) I use to be a fanatical bowhunter and spent many an hour either on my butt patiently waiting or still hunting when the weather and conditions were in my favor.
